Meaningless Direction

Don't you just love it when a manager type directs you to do something - and really, you knew all along it was your thing to do, and were already working on it (except nobody notices that part)?  "This is your top priority."  Really?  I thought cutting my toenails today would be more important.  Sorry, I'll get right on it!  If you hadn't told me I never would have thought about it!
